    • Location was great.
    • The location is close to attractions - coliseum and termini station
    • Checking out

    Cons -

    • Very outdated, you have to return your key every time you leave the hotel (outer doors also lock at night so you can’t really stay out at night since there is not 24hr reception), my booking stated private external bathroom which ended up being shared
    • Rooms are small, 4th floor no lift, heater was not working, bath room too tiny and smells. Comfort level was poor. Will not recommend.
    • The building is old, needs renovation, and it isnt safe. The AC in the room didn't work properly. It took over 2 hours for the AC to cool down the room. There was hair on the bed sheets and pillows. Toilet didn't work properly. I didn't have a good time.

We paid for room with a view and the view we got was the backs of buildings. There was a club beneath the room that was blasting music until 3am

The hotel is located next door to the Coliseum, and within walking distance of the forum and palatine hill. Our room had a small window overlooking some ruins and to our left we could view the Coliseum.

The bathroom was a few steps from our room, but it was not a shared bathroom and was ours alone. No one in the larger room next door, so it was like having a two room hotel room. Staff was excellent and the location couldn't have been better.

location next to the coliseum was a plus if you are a tourist

The wifi connection practically did not exist, not even in the middle of the night. The hotel is on the first floor above two bars. The noise coming from the patrons and the loud music made imposible to sleep before 2 in the morning

Stairs and air conditioning was not very well functioning

    Location

No tea/coffee facilities- no bar fridge no information in the room about emergency contact numbers no information on how to contact reception - no fire escape plan in rooms - advertised as having a bath which there wasn’t advertised as having a bidet which there wasn’t - I only booked this hotel because of the rating on booking.com looks like I will need to rethink providers

Understand that there are no elevators. Air conditioning varied by room, some were very efficient others not so. Only issue we had was getting back into our room at night. One night we waited for 25 minutes for someone to show up to give us our room key. Otherwise we were very pleased with our rooms and the staff.

air conditioning in a couple of rooms.

Good location, right in Rome's historical Centre.

    The stairs were tough.

Great location, friendly accommodating staff and a lovely room.

    Nothing to dislike here.

The location is excellent and the concierge cordial and friendly.

With the two LGBTQ bars on the ground floor, it's terribly noisy every weekend. On top, the restrooms need fixing and the beds are antique.

I actually had a few favorite things about this place. First, the view and general location was unbeatable. We could look out our window and not only see a small portion if ancient Rome, but also could see the coliseum if we looked out the left. Definitely one of the best rooms, location wise. We also loved the staff. They were both really fun and could speak English, which was definitely helpful. The room was also really nice and one of my favorite parts was that they let all 4 of us stay in a room together. I have been to places that max let 2 people to a room, so this was definitely a highlight for me. We got to grew closer as friends being in the same room and save some money not having to buy 2 rooms. They also let us add our 4th person on after for no charge, which was a bonus. Really great experience.

The ONLY thing I would say that was less then ideal, would be the internet connection. We barely got it in our room, which wasn't great. It wasn't that big if a deal though because we didn't spend much time in the room anyway.

Very nice receptionists. Very professional. Good hot shower. Seemed clean.

"Imperial" rooms is a ridiculous name for the hotel as the building looks quite dishevelled. All the rooms are on the first floor behind a locked glass door going to the rooms. The first night someone was fiddling with that lock on the glass door for a very long time and then fiddling iwth the lock on a hotel room door - maybe the person was very drunk or maybe they broke in - no idea. The furniture is cheap and so is the shower "curtain". On the one hand the retractable plastic shower curtain that hooks into the wall with a garden gate hook works very well to prevent water on the floor but the attachment is not what I would think of when booking a hotel for €150. Also the toilet brush is attached directly underneath the toilet paper so that it is impossible to remove toilet paper without your hand or the paper wiping that brush handle. This is really gross. The "Jacuzzi" is a bathtub with jacuzzi spigots built into the bathtub. Also, there was a rave party the first night somewhere in the building and we heard thumping until about 3am.For €150 per night there are other better options in the area.

The location was fantastic. In the evening there's a lot of traffic and bar traffic, police cars, ambulances, trains, buses because it's close to the coliseum. Coliseum. Wasn't a problem. Multiple restaurants within short walking distances open as early as 6:00 a.m.. it's a joy to watch all these happy people riding motorcycles and their little small cars. I love it!

Not really. I would definitely go back multiple times.

Location was excellent. Staff were nice. Not much else unfortunately

The "Monument View" was not of the Colleseum but of some ruins across the road. The impression I had was that it would be a veiw of the Colleseum. Also there is a bar underneath that was partying til 2am. Lots of loud music and screaming. If Id known al this I definitely would not have paid what I did and stayed elsewhere.

Location was perfect for the area.

Would have been nice to have known the entire 1st floor is for LGTBQ and the large flower rainbow on the front got us some interesting looks everytime we exited.
